Description: Damaskinos means aromas of prune in Greek, this wine got its name from these aromas prune that you can find in it. The ageing of the wine takes place under controlled conditions of temperature and humidity, for 18 months in French oak barrels from which. 6 months in selected first use French oak barrels with heavy burn. Final ageing in bottle. Deep red colour with auburn sheen. In the nose, dominates aromas of dry fruits, cinnamon and note of wood. By stirring the wine we have vanilla, tomato, olive and chocolate aromas. Robust wine, complex with rich body, conserving a persistent but calm coarseness due to soft and well structured tannins. The finish is smooth and leaves an after taste of black fruits and presence of lively tannins.

Combined: Around 20°C, it is good to decant so as to appreciate its whole complexity. This rich ‘‘vin de garde’’ with a complex character will be an excellent partner to lamb and other red meats and spicy cheese.

Description: The ageing of the wine takes place in controlled conditions of temperature and humidity. Ageing in French oak barrels for one year, bottling and bottle ageing for 6 months before the release. Its color is bright red. The first impression in its aroma is that of the barrel’s wood, while notes of white pepper and cumin start to develop discreetly. In the mouth it seems young with pungent tannins which create however, a pleasant ensemble. Warm mouth-feel with good acidity, firm tannins, and lingering red fruit and spice.

Combined: Around 20°C, ideally paired with rich dishes; grilled or stewed (veal & casseroles), yellow, spicy cheeses, or fricassee of lamb with lettuce.

Description: Light ruby ​​color in the glass, typical of the variety. Moderate, progressive nose, with ripe plum having the first word and the typical tomato puree of Xinomavro following. Black cherry and raspberry are combined with cinnamon and allspice as time passes in the glass while tobacco and sage herbal notes appear gradually. Moderate volume body, medium intensity, slightly dry tannins that soften day by day. The lively acidity refreshes the palate and gives vitality to the fruit. The spicy aftertaste leaves plum and chocolate in the mouth.

Combined: with red meats in the oven with herbs, hunts or heavy yellow cheese and sausages.
